郑彦英，男，生于1953年6月26日， 礼泉县 人。毕业于 武汉大学文学院 ，获 汉语言文学 学士 。是 河南省 作家协会副主席、河南省文学院院长。 中国作家协会 第九届全国委员会委员。
代表作《福星》《拂尘》《乡村模样》。
散文集《风行水上》获 第五届鲁迅文学奖 。另有30余部著作获全国 五个一工程奖 、全国社科 人文科学概论 优秀成果奖等省以上文学奖。系一级作家、河南省省管专家、享受国务院特殊津贴的国家有突出贡献专家。
