刘良，男，毕业于 广州中医药大学 ，获医学博士学位，现任 澳门科技大学 校长，是中药抗炎免疫药理、中药新药研发、风湿与关节炎研究领域的知名专家。
主要研究方向为中药分子 药理学 、抗 关节炎 与抗癌创新药物、中药 质量控制 技术与方法。
1986年起，刘良在广州中医药大学任教。
2019年11月22日当选 中国工程院院士 。
2021年1月起刘良担任澳门科技大学荣誉校长、讲座教授。

1992年赴德国 汉诺威医学院 分子药理研究所、 埃尔朗根 埃朗根-纽伦堡大学 马普研究协会（德国科学院）风湿病与免疫研究所工作。
1997年出任 广州中医药大学 副校长、教授、博士生导师 。
2000年8月出任浸会大学中医药学院常务副院长及教授。
2001年1月至2011年6月任浸会大学中医药学院院长。
2007年4月晋升为浸会大学终身 讲座教授 。
2011年7月起任 澳门科技大学 副校长 。
2013年1月起接任澳门科技大学校长 。
2019年11月22日当选 中国工程院院士 。
2021年1月起刘良任澳门科技大学荣誉校长、讲座教授。
