刘建平，男，1961年12月20日出生于 贵州省 ，籍贯山东莱河，医学博士，教授，博士生导师。现任 北京中医药大学 教授、循证医学中心主任。
主要成就
科研方向
主要研究方向为循证中医药临床研究与评价、临床试验方法学、研究综合学；重点研究的疾病有： 病毒性肝炎 、 艾滋病 、 2型糖尿病 及其并发症、结肠癌、肠道易激综合症等。
